Postmedia Place is celebrating another BOMA Toronto Earth Award win. The victory was announced at the Virtual Celebration of Excellence Awards Presentation on June 3rd, 2021.
The BOMA Toronto Earth Award recognizes buildings and their teams for excellence in environmental management. By earning the highest score in the 250,000 – 499,999 sq ft office category, Postmedia Place will compete at the BOMA Canada National Awards Competition being held at the virtual BOMEX conference October 20-21, 2021.
“It is an incredible achievement to receive this award twice. We are so proud of the entire Greenrock team and our valued partners for making this victory possible,” says Barry Green, Greenrock CEO.
Postmedia Place first won the Earth Award in 2018 and currently holds the BOMA BEST® Platinum certification.
“This award is an excellent recognition of the sustainability initiatives and energy savings we have accomplished thus far. We are so grateful to be honored again,” says Alaric da Cunha, Postmedia Place GM.
In 2020, Postmedia Place won both the ENERGY STAR Certification and CREST Innovative Excellence Award.
